Greetings!
I wanted to encourage you to attend PCA’s 2009 Conference Evaluating Neighborhood Programs: Measuring Outcomes, Determining Effectiveness. As you look at the agenda for the day (below) – your will notice:
· It applies to all organizations (not just aging) who are interested evaluating programs on a shoestring budget
· It will give you a new perspective on why health outcomes matter – to your program, neighborhood and to funders!
· You will get to network with a new audience
· There will be a resources section (to help you with the tools you need for evaluations) with groups such as Avencia (GIS), Nonprofit Technology Resources, Public Health Management Corp (Data! Training!), Delaware Valley Regional Planning Association, the Census, the Metropolitan Indicators Project, the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance, Policy Map, the Community Design Collaborative, Npower, and more.
It is only $25 per person (including lunch).
The deadline is coming up – Nov 2 - so please register soon! (if you need an extension on that let me know).
Kate
