The Institute for Children and Poverty (ICP) welcomes applications for a Senior Research Associate position. The main responsibility will be to create and develop a research agenda that focuses on low-income children and families. In doing so, the successful applicant will conduct research projects dealing with child poverty and social policies, as well as health, child welfare, education, employment, and housing. Other duties include overseeing the day-to-day management of junior staff, supervising the production of organizational reports and materials, and managing data collection efforts. Applicants must have a doctorate in applied social science, as well as knowledge of policies that affect low-income children and families, and experience with quantitative research methods.
